My name is Margie Wiggin. I have been working in Elementary Education for many years and now offer tutoring sessions for grades K - 6, by appointment. I would love to help your student through whatever learning challenges they may be having, at your home, my home, or online.
My undergraduate degree is a BA in English with a concentration in Psychology, and I hold a Master's in Education and Reading Specialist, K - 12, as well as certification in High School Literature. All of my licenses and certifications are current and valid. I worked in the Hopkinton Schools for 11 years, from 2007 - 2018, helping students with reading, writing, math and special subjects. I have taught French and Spanish, and have taken both the ESL and SEI courses to be able to work with students who have English as a second language. I worked as a reading specialist and with special needs students in Hudson and Upton in 2018 and 2019, so I have experience with ADD, ADHD, ASD, Executive Function and Down Syndrome needs and those are often my favorite kids to work with! I look forward to working with your student!
